Sew Fab Embroidery Club

AUGUST EMBROIDERY CLUB

IT’S TIME FOR KIMBERBELL!
Monday , August 24, 2026 and Friday, August 28, 2026
1:00-4:00 PM
This month, we will be making Home Sewn, Volume 3 by Kimberbell. This volume includes designs for October, November and December. The designs will be available for instant download on August 19th. We will be working on the October tile scene.
Remember, to purchase your designs through Heidi’s web site. She has a link in the top left corner of the home page. Click on this and it will take you to the Kimberbell site. This way Sew Fabulous will receive credit. Heidi will have the embellishment kits and fabric kits available to purchase at the store. If you have not already contacted her for these items, be sure to do so before August 1st.
Supplies:
- Your October tiles loaded to your machine or USB
- Directions for your project . This is very important. Kimberbell has very detailed directions, beginning with what sizes to cut your fabrics. It will also indicate which pieces require a backing stabilizer like SF 101. Heidi also carries a comparable stabilizer at the store.
- A 5x7 hoop will be used for all six tiles
- Poly Mesh Stabilizer
- Batting
- Fabric for your Tiles. If you are purchasing a kit check with Heidi with regards to when you may purchase them. The more preparation you do before we meet, the more tiles you will be able to complete.
- Also bring sewing thread and your foot pedal if you wish to sew tiles together as you complete them
- Embroidery thread, including an extra empty bobbin
Remember all your standard supplies like your power cord, scissors, pins, air erase marking pen, sewing thread, tape measure and ruler, and embroidery foot. ESPECIALLY YOUR MACHINE MANUAL!
Also bring your Show & Tell! You ladies never fail to amaze me with all the wonderful things you have been working on. You always inspire me! I look forward to seeing what has been keeping you busy!
If you are signed up and unable to attend the class, please let us know at least 8 days before the scheduled class date and we can refund your class fee as a store credit. After this date no refunds will be offered.
