JULY EMBROIDERY CLUB
CHRISTMAS (PRESENTS) IN JULY!

This month, we will be making A JELLY ROLL BOTTLE CARRIER by Sweet Pea. It comes in a 6x10 (4”x13”x2.5”) or 7x12 (4”x14”x2.5”) size.
I thought this would make a nice Christmas gift for the wine lover in your family! If you have all your fabrics cut and ready you should be able to get all the embroidery done and maybe even some of the sewing construction, too.
Supplies:
- Your design loaded to your machine
- Directions for your project
- Hoop to fit your design I used an 8x12 hoop, (the Maxi Bernina hoop) for my sample. However the strap may be embroidered in a 6x10 hoop.
- Cut Away Stabilizer
- SF 101 to stabilize all your fabrics, if you desire. I chose to add it for better strength, and nicer embroidery results
- Fabric for your carrier. You will make a front and back panel and one strap. In addition you will cut a front and back panel for your lining.
- Also bring sewing thread and your foot pedal so you may sew it together when the embroidery is completed!
Remember all your standard supplies like your power cord, scissors, pins, air erase marking pen, sewing thread, tape measure and ruler, and embroidery foot. ESPECIALLY YOUR MACHINE MANUAL!
Also bring your Show & Tell! You ladies never fail to amaze me with all the wonderful things you have been working on. You always inspire me! I look forward to seeing what has been keeping you busy!

Next to her horse, sewing is her second passion, something she's been doing since a child. She loves introducing and supporting others on this creative and useful art form. |
