Greetings - Happy August! I think the All State Michigan Shop Hop was great! We met so many wonderful quilters and sewists that we wouldn't have met otherwise. The fabric sales were wonderful which allows us to get new fabrics and we all love to see new fabrics. I hope you all had a fun time and are looking forward to next year because we're doing it again!

These stuffing tools a great for pushing poly-fiber fill into a stuffed toy. They come in handy for making the "Funky Friends Factory" toys you'll see next.

BERNINA and Bernette Beyond the Basics classes

These 2 classes will be offered once a month (on Monday one month, Saturday the next month) to encourage those who own BERNINA or Bernette machines to explore their machines and learn more about them. We'll be using the "Master the Basics" books from BERNINA but I don't want you to be intimidated by the word master - this is for anyone at any level who has one of these machines. It'll be fun! This is free to anyone who purchased their BERNINA or Bernette machine at Sew Fabulous; otherwise, there will be a $75 fee the day of the class. For more information and to register, go to:

MONDAY-TUESDAY-WEDNESDAY: Aug 5-6-7: Sew Fabulous In-House Retreat. For those who have signed up, you may arrive as early as 9:00 am and leave as late at 7:00 pm each day - come and go as you please. I'll be providing lunch. If you would like anything other than coffee, tea or water to drink, please bring your own.

THURSDAY: Aug 8, Noon-5:00: Sit 'N Sew. Cost $3 which is returned with $3+ purchase that day.
