SIGN-UP OPPORTUNITIES
Since we had such a good response to our Nighting Apron & Tea Towel class we are sold out of those kits. It turns out we have an alternative apron panel so that we can have one more class. If you'd like to experience what a serger/coverstitch combo machine can do, go to https://mysewfab.com/module/class/594266/garden-symphony-apron-and-ruffled-tea-towel to sign up for this class on April 18 @ 2:00-6:00. If you have any questions, please call the store @ 269-459-1725. We still have openings for the Pennsylvania Dahlia quilt class on April 26, May 3 & May 10 (10:00-3:00 each day). This will be a fun and challenging class with Tanya and Heidi. We'll learn English Paper Piecing, Applique, and regular piecing. If you'd like, we can put a kit together for you or you can bring your own fabric. For details and to sign up, go to https://mysewfab.com/module/class/588271/pennsylvania---dahlia-quilt-class. |

SPECIAL PROJECT - COUNT-DOWN CHAIN I would like to share a project some you may like to try. If you have a friend who loves to quilt and is graduating or retiring (or some other event), you could make and give a 'COUNT-DOWN CHAIN' to count down to that special day. The theory is you make a fabric chain like you would a paper chain when you were in Kindergarten, then each day leading up to that special day, he/she would remove a link. I used 2 1/2" strips of fabric so that as a link was taken away each day, there would be a strip of fabric to be used in a fun project. For my friend, I decided to use the "Frosted Window Panes" pattern from Villa Rosa (we have many 2 1/2" strip-friendly patterns from Villa Rosa at Sew Fabulous). STEPS:
