You may have noticed that I missed sending out my newsletter last week and thought it was because it was the Fourth of July. The truth is that I had it written twice but each time I sent it, the system crashed and I lost all the work I did. So, I'm going to start out this week with a little recap of what my newsletter would have been last week.
 

HAPPY FOURT OF JULY! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday. Today (remember this was last Friday) Mike and I are traveling to Drummond Island to celebrate my daughter's birthday and my mother's 90th birthday. Sadie loved looking out the front window and Rudi was just happy to be going anywhere! This was his first trip to Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
 

The Mackinaw Bridage is always beautiful but especially when it's flying our nation's flag! They also hang it for the Labor Day Bridge Walk when thousands of people cross the bridge on foot.

Here is a picture of our family cottage on Drummond Island. It was great fun being there with my family and pets - we had 10 people and 6 dogs!

That was last week's newsletter. I hope you had a fun and safe holiday - our prayers go out to the people suffering in Texas.

NOW ON TO THIS WEEK'S NEWSLETTER - I HAVE SOME BIG NEWS! Our Service Department will continue to service all BERNINA, bernette, PFAFF and JANOME sewing machines; all other brands will be picked up by Family Sewing for repair. This means you can drop off your BABY LOCK, BROTHER and VIKING MACHINES here starting July 16. 

• Family Sewing has been providing this service through Joann's for 30+ years 
• They are a warranty service center for Singer, Baby Lock, Brother and Juki
• They provide a free estimate for their services; however, we will collect a $50 deposit which will be applied to your final bill. If your final bill is less than $50, you will be given a refund in the form of an in-store credit at Sew Fabulous - your deposit can be applied to the purchase of a new machine, if you like.
• Family Sewing works on sewing machines, sergers and embroidery machines.
• All BERNINA, bernette, PFAFF and JANOME service & repairs will be performed here at Sew Fabulous.

Did I mention that I can now sell Glide thread? This is beautiful thread in the large cones great for long arm quilters or embroiderers! Our supply is limited right now because I'm trying to learn if this is something you want. If you have used Glide thread and would like me to carry more, please let me know. 

By the way, I also have a limited supply of Omni-V (a variegated thread from Superior Threads - always top quality) in the large cones - is this something you'd like to see more of?
