Happy Friday! I hope you're all doing well.

I've been busy getting all my plans together for the Missouri Star Quilt Company Bus Trip. Here is a quick (well, maybe not so quick, updated):

• I've mapped out stops on our trip to ensure we get to stretch our legs at least every 3 hours. There is also a bathroom on the bus - just in case. 
• A very kind person who has been to MSQC let me know that the Missouri Quilt Museum is very close to downtown so we'll be visiting that while we're there. With a group our size, we'll get a discount on admission - $8 instead of $12.
• I've been in touch with MSQC to make sure we will all get a goodie bag filled with lots of fun stuff! They are also going to provide (6) $50 gift certificates that we will draw for 6 lucky guests. 
• I've reached out to several of the vendors I deal with to see if they have any stuff we can give away. I'm confident they'll come through with some great things. 
• Breakfast is provided at the hotel. 
• There is a restaurant across the street from the hotel (Jiggs and Gigs Tavern) giving us another meal option. 
• Since we'll be leaving early on October 14th and returning late on October 17th, I've contacted a local hotel and arranged for a block of rooms at a special price.

BAG MAKING CLASS WITH TANYA - EASY DOES IT by ByAnnie

This bag is the kick-off to our regular Bag Making Class that Tanya will teach. After you've made the Easy Does It bag, Tanya will give you a list of tools/accessories to keep in the bag for future classes - this will be your "Bag Making Class Bag!" What fun is that!! There are 2 sessions, October 10 and October 11. If you're not able to complete the bag on the 10th, you can come in on the 11th to finish it up.

WHEN: October 10, 10:30 - 3:30 (Bring a Lunch)
PRICE: $25 (no additional charge to carry over to the 11th if necessary)

WHEN: October 11, 10:30 - 3:30 (Bring a Lunch)
PRICE: $25 (if you need additional time, you can come in during Sit 'N Sew on Thursday Noon-5:00 - one visit free)

SATURDAY: Sep. 20, 9:30-11:30: Beyond Bernette Basics. This class is always free to customers who purchased a Bernette 77 or Bernette 79 here at Sew Fabulous. If you have one of these machines purchased elsewhere, you are still welcome to join us at a cost of $75. 

WEDNESDAY: Sep. 24, 1:00-4:00: Snap Dragons, a KLCQ group.

THURSDAY: Sep. 25, Noon-5:00: Sit 'N Sew. Cost $5. Open to all.
