Major Happenings At Sew Fabulous, Portage, MI
We are staying at our current location so we can bring you more products and programs than ever before. We have a lot in the works and wanted to send you an outline of the plans we have in motion.

Our Plans at Sew Fabulous:
CLOSED AUGUST 17-28: (*Scheduled classes will still be held) The reason for this is twofold.
o Store Reorganization: There are many reasons for this but the most important is to give us larger classroom space and more shelves to display fabrics.
o Longarm Training at BERNINA USA: To sell the Q-Series machines here at Sew Fabulous, we must attend Sales and Product training so that we know how to help you make the best decision in your longarm purchase. Also, Ross must attend Longarm Tech training so he can service all those beautiful machines.
CONTINUING SALES & SERVICE: We are going to continue selling and servicing quality BERNINA, Bernette and JANOME machines. We strive to provide exceptional customer service before, during and after the purchase of these machines and hope you agree we care about our customers and want them to have the best machine for their needs.
ADDITIONAL IN-HOUSE RETREATS: We’ve had many people request an evening in-house retreat. We are planning to schedule in-house retreats that start Friday @ Noon-8:00 (though you will be able to join when you can) and continue to Saturday, 9:00-4:00. (Price for this event is yet to be determined.)
LONGARM SALES & SERVICE: If you’ve been in our store, you may wonder where we plan to put these big, beautiful machines. We have a plan! The longarms on the big frames will be located at our Sew Fab Studio located in the Hillside Center – just another unit. We plan to have one longarm and frame to show at Sew Fabulous for you to look at and test. Then we’ll visit the studio for more options. Delivery and set up will be available.
LONGARM RENTAL: We’ll have a longarm machine that will be available for rent. Before anyone can rent time on our longarm machine, s/he must attend a class here at Sew Fabulous to be certified. Recertification will be required. More details on this program will be available in September.
NEW PRODUCTS:
o Cross-stitch and Embroidery Supplies: We are planning to add these items but don’t have a specific timeframe on when that will happen.
o Accuquilt: This premium die-cutting system will be available to buy at Sew Fabulous. The timeline is yet to be determined.
PROGRAMS & EVENTS:
o We hosted our first Kimberbell Day on July 18 and had so much fun! We hope to do more events like this in the future.
o Mystery Five-O: Have you heard about this? This is a Facebook-driven program that has been around for a few years. We must abide by a strict schedule and can’t share much more than this, so be patient; we’ll be sending more information on this next week.
o AccuQuilt and AccuQuiltable Classes: We can use the AccuQuiltable Design software to design our own quilts then use purchased dies to make them.
